Higos Wins £10k Aviva Community Fund

At Higos, we’re committed in supporting our charity partner the Youth Adventure Trust (YAT).
To continue our commitment we embarked on an application journey for this year's Aviva Community Fund for the chance to secure an award of up to £20,000 for The Youth Adventure Trust. This process was nothing short of a labour of love, requiring meticulous attention to detail; including navigating word limits, financial breakdowns, and the inclusion of compelling pictures and videos.
Higos became finalists for the Aviva Community Fund out of an incredible 166 entries and on the 17th October attended the Aviva Broker Community Awards.
We’re delighted to announce our charity partner Youth Adventure Trust were recognised for their outstanding achievements and were awarded an incredible £10,000! The award will make an incredible difference to Youth Adventure Trust and help with their mission to inspire others by making a lasting improvement to the lives of vulnerable young people.
Rory Kennedy, Charity Committee Chairman, attended the award ceremony. Rory said “It was an incredibly humbling experience, as I’ve had the privilege of hearing from numerous exceptional charities and their remarkable efforts to make a difference in communities nationwide. I'm absolutely thrilled to share that our charity partner, Youth Adventure Trust (YAT) was awarded £10,000 from the Aviva Broker Community Fund. As part of YAT’s current strategy, this will enable them to build out their programme further. YAT make such a difference in their communities and it was a proud moment for all those involved which will support more vulnerable young people.” Rory concluded, “Congratulations to all the well-deserving winners, and a big thank you to Aviva for organising this incredible event.”
