Higos Bude Office Supports World Oceans Day
Making a difference is at the heart of everything we do.
At Higos, we encourage our staff to get involved with local initiatives to help the environment such as Beach Cleans or Great British Tidy Up. That’s why we’ve introduced a company volunteer day, which allows staff to use a paid day to support a local initiative of their choosing.
In support of World Oceans Day our Higos Bude office has truly made a difference by utilising their Company Volunteer Day by spending the afternoon cleaning up rubbish at their local beach. Their tremendous efforts and remarkable volunteer work demonstrates the power of collective efforts towards making a positive difference in our local communities and environment.
Our Bude branch manager Helen said "we all felt the rewarding experience that comes with giving back, and it was a delightful way to conclude the week while strengthening our team bond."
This is just the tip of the iceberg in our quest to be more environmentally friendly. Our Eco team will continue to implement change and support our Higos branches to work together to ensure we reduce our carbon footprint and achieve zero net status
For charity and giving, it has to be Higos.
